Consul General of Georgia in Istanbul meets with the Governor of Kocaeli

On November 22, 2023, within the visit to Kocaeli province, Consul General of Georgia in Istanbul, Aleksandre Jishkariani met with the Governor of Kocaeli, Seddar Yavuz.

The parties discussed issues related to the development of relations in the fields such as economy, trade, tourism and culture. Special attention was paid to deepening trade and econimic ties between the two countries.

The meeting also touched upon future plans of cooperation between the Consulate General in Istanbul and relevant state agencies of Kocaeli province aimed at the effective implementation of consular protection of Georgian citizens.
