Consul General Mr. Jishkariani meets with the Governor of Istanbul Mr. Gül

On September 26, 2023 Consul General of Georgia in Istanbul Aleksandre Jishkariani met with Governor of Istanbul Mr. Davut Gül.

The parties discussed issues related to the development of relations in the fields of economy, trade, tourism, culture and humanitarian areas.

The meeting also touched upon the cooperation opportunities between the Consulate General of Georgia in Istanbul and various Turkish state agencies aimed at ensuring the effective consular protection of Georgian citizens.

Importance of the existing cooperation between the Republic of Turkey and Georgia, which has the nature of a strategic partnership, was emphasized.
