Visit of the Governor of Istanbul at the Consulate General of Georgia

February 1, 2024, Governor of Istanbul Mr. Davut Gül visited the Consulate General of Georgia in Istanbul and held a meeting with Consul General, Mr. Aleksandre Jishkariani.
The parties discussed and positively evaluated the existing cooperation between the Governor's Office,  relevant state agencies of Türkiye and the Consulate General of Georgia in Istanbul. The Consul General expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Istanbul for the fruitful cooperation and the visit to the Consulate General.
At the meeting the importance of strategic partnership between Georgia and the Republic of Türkiye was emphasized. Parties expressed a readiness to promote economic, cultural, and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
